Ingredients
- 2 slices wholegrain bread
- 1 slice mild cheese
- 4 slices bacon
- 1/2 red onion
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp finely chopped chives
Preparation
- Fry the bacon until crispy.
- Roast the red onion until lightly caramelised.
- Arrange the mild cheese, bacon and red onion on a slice of bread.
- Bake in the croque machine until the cheese has melted.
- Fry an egg.
- Top the croque with the fried egg and finely chopped chives.
